Lead Storekeeper

The Lead Storekeeper is responsible for maximizing the potential of the QDC Hub by operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including VNA trucks, to ensure efficient movement of stock. The role involves supervising warehousing, replenishment, and distribution functions, inspecting item quality, and ensuring data and stock security. The Lead Storekeeper also handles inventory batch control and organizes the warehouse for easy accessibility.
المسؤوليات
- Drive VNA trucks & other MHE used in warehouse to move stocks
- Participate in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Undertake rapid stock picking based on requirements
- Check all stocks received going in and out of the store
- Liaise with Warehouse supervisors to ensure accurate records are kept
- Supply all locations with necessary stocks through coordination with Team Leaders
- Maintain warehouse and its allocated sections in a clean and orderly manner
- Carry out regular stock checks and authorized stock counts
- Perform stock related duties including returning rejected or damaged materials
- Supervise the periodical review of inventory ageing
المؤهلات
- Must be able to communicate, read and write in English
- Knowledge of inventory management (i.e. FIFA method)
- Proficient in stock forecasting system
- Knowledge of MS Excel
