Safety Officer

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join our contracting and construction company. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on construction sites, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and project safety standards.
المسؤوليات
- Implement and enforce company HSE policies and procedures on site
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions
- Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety plans
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses
- Maintain safety records, logs, and documentation
- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices
المؤهلات
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction site safety
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international safety standards
