m2r Education are partnering with a leading British International School in Al Khobar who are seeking an Assistant Headteacher for the Senior School to start in the new academic year. With a state-of-the-art campus, the school is renowned for its academic excellence, trusted teaching cohorts, and student success. As the Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher and Deputy Head Teacher in driving high standards, promoting excellent teaching and learning and fostering a positive, inclusive pastoral culture that supports the wellbeing and success of all pupils.
المسؤوليات
- Contribute to the development, communication, and implementation of the school’s vision, values, and strategic improvement priorities
- Promote consistently high-quality teaching across the school through coaching, mentoring, and support
- Oversee or support the development of effective assessment systems that inform teaching, track progress, and identify areas of need
- Analyse whole-school performance data, including exam outcomes, behaviour patterns, attendance, and assessment tracking
- Lead or support the pastoral team in ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, punctuality, and pupils conduct in line with school policies
- Contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the school, including duties, timetabling, and event management
- Assist with safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management procedures
- Actively participate in school events, parent evenings, assemblies, and community engagement
المؤهلات
- Bachelor’s Degree + PGCE/QTS from a UK institution
- At least 5 years of relevant teaching experience post-qualification
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience within a Senior School setting in the Middle East
- Experience with the English National Curriculum or in a British International School
- Experience in leading or working within strong pastoral teams (desirable)
- Experience of leading assessment systems, tracking progress and improving pupil outcomes
