OFR Operations Manager

DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for a OFR Operations Manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Contribute to develop OFR Ops/CS strategy in line with business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies. Ensure development of ocean freight forwarding plans and budgets, and achievement of productivity targets and measures to provide ocean freight services for internal and external customers.

- Contribute to develop OFR Ops/CS strategy in line with business strategy and requirements
- Ensure development of ocean freight forwarding plans and budgets
- Design and execute plans for ocean freight products in areas such as perishables, pharmaceutical, aviation
- Achieve commercial ocean line haul requirements for the designated area
- Scan alternatives to enhance service, secure cost-effective and competitive line haul, and negotiate rates with suppliers
- Oversee RFQ development and clearly communicate guidelines
- Ensure pricing activities and responses to enquiries in a timely, efficient and globally competitive manner
- Develop and maintain business relationships with customers through regular customer visits
- Review processes and design systems to enhance service quality
- Create and/or confirm transport orders, perform and optimize bookings
- Prepare, control, and distribute all required Import/Export documents
المؤهلات
- Experience more than 6 years
- Bachelor’s Degree
