Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation (Area Authority)

Area Authority for all E&I activities during construction & modification with live operations (Brownfield). The witness and execution of the Operational Test Procedure (OTP) and commissioning. Assist the C&I supervisor with preparation of the start-up procedures and the operation. Identifies precautions to be taken to provide a safe place for intended start-up activities. Participates in risk assessments and Permit to Work meetings. Education: Higher national diploma or certificate. Minimum 5 years’ experience in O&G production operations. Previous experience with offshore operation preferred.
المسؤوليات
- Identifies procedures & precautions for safe start-up activities
- Assist the Supervisor in finalizing on-site start-up procedures
- Participate in the preparation of risk assessments
- Prepare potential permit to work required for start-up activities
- Liaise with Project Engineer to coordinate start-up progress
- Takes part in Permit to Work meetings
- Witness Operational Test performed by commissioning
- Participates to HazId, JSA and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews
المؤهلات
- Higher national diploma or certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in O&G production operations
- Basic firefighting certification
- T-BOSIET, H2S training OPITO approved
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification
