Director of Sales - Groups & Events

Leading and organizing an effective Group & Event Sales Team including recruitment, training, development, and supervision in compliance with the Kempinski Standards. Monitoring, supervising and constantly improving the Service Quality of the Department. Revenue maximization in the Event and group field to reach or surpass the predetermined budget.
المسؤوليات
- Responsible for revenue generation from received leads in the Event and group field
- Develop an Event & Group forecast with the Revenue Manager
- Active conversion of an effective Event and group Sales Strategy
- Set and regularly review goals for the Groups & Events Sales team
- Handle requests defined by the Director of Sales & Marketing
- Carry out site inspections with potential MICE clients
- Ensure proper communication of all Event and group details to Event Managers
- Monitor the Opera S&C System for efficiency
- Review F&B menus and pricing structures for events
- Handle inquiries until conversion including negotiation and contracting
المؤهلات
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in the hotel industry and in the Groups & Events Sales area
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing market
- Strong computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
- Effective ability to supervise, motivate, and develop their team
