Workshop Maintenance Engineer I (Landing Gear Workshop)

As a Workshops Maintenance Engineer I you will carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft components as per company and associated regulatory procedures. In this role you will: Carry out aircraft components maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures. Ensure that assigned aircraft components are maintained as per latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publications. Determine if tooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the task and use specialised tooling where required. Maintain effective communication with Colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers to ensure a seamless flow of information. Manage the performance of staff using performance review process and system. Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements. Proactively identify New Capabilities build-up opportunities. Lead the project to build up the agreed new aircraft components capabilities until it is approved by regulatory. Responsible to perform, assist, and support all Overhaul/Repair/Inspection tasks required for landing gears.
