UI/UX Designer

LightFeather is seeking a UI/UX Designer to support complex initiatives across their lifecycle by bringing structure, clarity, and a human-centered perspective to how problems are understood and addressed. In this role, you will lead discovery and design activities that translate user needs, operational constraints, and business objectives into actionable insights and practical design artifacts. Working alongside cross-functional teams in a government-facing consulting environment, you will contribute to user-centered approaches that improve collaboration, reduce risk, and strengthen how work moves from concept through execution. This is a full-time remote role for U.S. citizens only.

- Lead discovery efforts to identify user needs, pain points, requirements, and business objectives
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions
- Translate ambiguous problem spaces into clearly defined problem statements and priorities
- Communicate design intent, requirements, and constraints effectively to technical and leadership audiences
- Synthesize research and discovery findings to produce actionable artifacts
- Develop wireframes to explore solutions and gather early feedback
- Advocate for user-centered design practices
المؤهلات
- Proven experience leading discovery and requirements gathering activities
- Proficiency in creating design artifacts using tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Active Secret Clearance
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a BA/BS degree
