Clinical Informatics Director, MD/DO

Gritter Francona is looking for a Clinical Informatics Director, MD/DO. The Office of Clinical Informatics within the Office of Health Informatics (OHI) advances the enterprise standard of care and patient experience using improved data, tools, and informatics processes. You will lead the informatics strategy and roadmap for the contract, aligning clinical, operational, and IT goals.

- Lead the informatics strategy and roadmap for the contract
- Chair or co-chair clinical informatics committees and governance councils
- Establish and enforce clinical informatics policies, standards, and best practices
- Translate clinical requirements into optimized, evidence-based workflows
- Champion safety, usability, and clinician experience
- Oversee selection, configuration, and optimization of EHRs and related systems
- Guide data quality initiatives and interoperability
- Evaluate and govern the use of AI/ML-enabled clinical tools
- Lead clinical risk assessments and safety event reviews related to health IT
- Lead structured change management strategies
المؤهلات
- MD or DO, active and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or territory
- 8+ years demonstrated experience as a Clinical Informatics Director and/or Clinical Informatics Lead within a healthcare system
- Proven leadership of enterprise-level EHR and clinical technology programs
- Demonstrated success in clinical workflow transformation, content standardization, and quality/safety initiatives
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, CMS quality programs, ONC certification)
- Strong knowledge of clinical standards and interoperability (HL7 v2, C-CDA, FHIR)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
