The Human Resources Specialist at Sysco plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) and organizational leadership to implement local initiatives and execute regional and corporate programs effectively. This position is instrumental in creating an engaging and inclusive work environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent. The HR Specialist will handle employee relations, compliance, and training development, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the organization.
المسؤوليات
- Partner with the HRBP to execute core HR processes such as performance management, talent management, compensation, training, and development initiatives
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and associates on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with leadership and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support recruitment, staffing, and onboarding efforts
- Drive initiatives to promote an inclusive and diverse culture
- Develop, implement, and administer programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction
- Manage employee and labor relations, including conducting investigations and resolving conflicts effectively
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Coordinate workers' compensation reporting and liaise with Gallagher Bassett
- Assist in identifying training needs and developing professional development programs
المؤهلات
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources management is required
- At least three years in a supervisory capacity preferred
- Certifications such as PHR or SPHR are highly desirable
- Experience with HR systems like SAP, Workday, or similar platforms is preferred
