Chief Accountant / Asst Finance Manager

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations of a five-star hotel in Bahrain, including rooms division and multiple food & beverage outlets. Ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, compliance with Bahrain laws and tax regulations, and adherence to international hotel brand standards.
المسؤوليات
- Manage daily accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, and Cashiering
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Coordinate year-end closing and liaise with external auditors
- Supervise room revenue accounting and credit management
- Oversee F&B outlet accounting operations and revenue postings
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT regulations
- Oversee statutory compliance related to LMRA and GOSI
- Maintain and enforce finance SOPs
المؤهلات
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hotel accounting
- Prior experience in the GCC or Bahrain is highly desirable
