Wood PLC is hiring an Electrical Engineer Head of Discipline I. This lead role involves defining and approving technical scopes, establishing scope of work for projects, executing assigned scopes, and providing discipline expertise. The successful candidate will manage others, contribute to business growth, and act as a technical authority when appointed. The position requires a high level of leadership, technical expertise in electrical engineering, and the ability to solve complex technical problems.

Definition and approval of technical scopes
Establishes scope of work for project or proposal, allocates and directs staff
Develops and implements procedures, methods and controls to be used
Executing assigned scopes of work
Directs scheduling, cost control and technical conformance during design phase of projects
Coordinates activities with other groups and clients
Participate in or lead incident investigations as required
Leads design reviews
Provides technical guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Management of key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities

المؤهلات

ISCED Level 6 Bachelors (minimum), Level 7 Masters (preferred) or Level 8 Doctorate (desirable) Degree in engineering discipline
Chartership or relevant professional license/registration preferred
