Safety & Policy Specialist | $90/hr | Remote

Crossing Hurdles is hiring a Governance & Trust – Safety Specialist to evaluate AI-generated outputs against safety criteria like bias and misinformation. You will apply harm taxonomies to ambiguous scenarios and document reasoning to support AI safety research. This is a remote contract role for 10–40 hours per week.

- Annotate and evaluate AI outputs against defined safety criteria
- Apply harm taxonomies consistently to edge-case scenarios
- Document reasoning for model improvement
- Contribute human judgment data for AI safety research
- Collaborate asynchronously with research teams
المؤهلات
- Background in trust & safety, governance, policy, or risk
- Experience translating abstract policies into evaluation criteria
- Familiarity with safety-by-design principles or harm taxonomies
- Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail
