WAN Engineer

The WAN Engineer performs operation and maintenance (O&M) for the RCC-SWA enterprise network infrastructure. WAN Engineers will ensure stability and provide daily support of a geographically dispersed Wide Area Network Infrastructure and are responsible for design, troubleshooting, optimization, administration, change management and technical documentation.
المسؤوليات
- Maintain and operate routers and switches throughout Southwest Asia
- Configures OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, DMVPN, MPLS, VRF, and QoS
- Identify problems and troubleshoot DMVPN phases 1-3
- Evaluates network performance and adjusts hardware and software
- Perform regular system maintenance in support of IAVA vulnerabilities
- Perform capacity planning for data, voice, and video networks
- Monitors availability and reliability of WAN infrastructure
- Create, update, and maintain detailed network diagrams
المؤهلات
- Requires an active Secret Clearance
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Must maintain at least one baseline certification (e.g., CCNP-Security, CISSP)
- Must maintain one computing environment (CE) certification (e.g., CCNP Enterprise, CCIE)
- At least 10 years of practical experience with network and systems technologies
