CFD for multiphase fluid flow and transport in oil wells

Postdoc position at KAUST to develop a rigorous 3D modeling tool for multiphase fluid flow within wellbores using CFD solvers. The model will account for thermodynamics, fluid mixing, and chemical reactions under different flow regimes.
المسؤوليات
- Develop 3D modeling tools for wellbore multiphase flow
- Conduct simulations on a supercomputer at KAUST
- Work closely with an industry partner
- Model thermodynamics, fluid mixing and chemical reactions
المؤهلات
- Ph.D. in computational sciences, mechanical engineering, reservoir engineering, or related field
- Experience with CFD for multiphase fluid flow in pipes
- Proficiency in scientific coding (C++, Python, Matlab)
