Interpreters & Cultural Mediators (Arabic and Somali)

Join our team and work onsite, supporting frontline operations through deployments across various European locations. Your role will help ensure clear, respectful communication and protect the dignity and rights of people in vulnerable situations. What will you do? - Support debriefing and screening teams during interviews and operational activities, ensuring accurate interpretation and cultural mediation. - Provide cultural insights and contextual background to support informed decision‑making. - Prepare relevant information for team members (key questions, cultural considerations, background knowledge). - Interpret and translate between English and migrants’ native languages. - Monitor media and open sources related to migratory flows from countries of origin and transit, and report relevant findings. - Work onsite with operational teams, including police forces and EU agencies, during deployments. - Adapt to dynamic field environments and support humanitarian and migration‑related activities as needed.
