Business System Analyst

Aramco is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our Downstream Transformation & Business Excellence Department (DST&BED). DST&BED supports the Downstream Admin Areas by defining, designing and delivering digital capabilities that enhance operational performance and enable data-driven decision-making. Your primary role is to define the business requirements for downstream digital solutions and ensure that solutions are aligned with strategic and operational needs. You will lead digital solution ideation and prioritization, end-to-end requirement gathering, and translate user needs into functional specifications.

- Identify, analyze and document business requirements for downstream digital solutions.
- Participate in solution ideation, design sprints and user interviews to synthesize user needs.
- Benchmark best practices and evaluate existing technologies and market solutions.
- Evaluate current operating practices and recommend improvements aligned with digital transformation and value creation objectives.
- Provide product ownership support by defining features and refining user stories for clear design and development.
- Translate end-user requirements into solution features and detailed functional specifications.
- Define user acceptance criteria and ensure user stories are prepared for development.
- Access dependencies between digital solutions and ensure alignment across multiple platforms.
- Support the development of future customer journeys and digital roadmaps.
المؤهلات
- Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- 15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Downstream (including refining).
- At least 10 years in the development and implementation of digital solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the development of digital solutions and technologies.
- Proven experience as a business analyst in complex digital programs.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of business process modeling (As-Is and To-Be modeling).
