Virtual Records Administrator

A remote-first role in the Records Management & Information Governance sector supporting clients across Canada. We are hiring a Virtual / Remote Records Administrator to manage electronic and physical records lifecycles, ensure regulatory compliance, and streamline records workflows for distributed teams.
المسؤوليات
- Manage ingestion, metadata tagging, indexing, version control and secure storage of electronic and scanned records
- Execute records classification and retention schedule activities
- Process records requests and retrievals
- Perform quality control on scanned documents and OCR outputs
- Apply privacy and security controls aligned to Canadian regulations (PIPEDA/PHIPA)
- Collaborate with Information Governance, Legal, IT and business teams
المؤهلات
- Proven experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and SharePoint administration
- Strong working knowledge of records classification and retention schedules
- Familiarity with Canadian privacy and records legislation (PIPEDA)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools
- Demonstrated ability to perform OCR quality control and digital conversion tasks
- Proven accuracy in data entry, indexing and maintaining audit-ready records
