A Mechanic specialized in tankers, trailers, and flatbeds, particularly within a hazardous materials or industrial gas environment, is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of the heavy-duty fleet. Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, complex diagnostics, and repairing hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
المسؤوليات
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on trucks and trailers
- Inspect and repair tanker components like pressure relief valves, vents, and pumping systems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic software
- Inspect and repair trailer chassis, including welding repairs
- Ensure equipment meets Qatar regulatory standards and road safety guidelines
- Maintain detailed maintenance records
المؤهلات
- 2–5+ years of experience in heavy-duty trailer/tanker maintenance
- Technical diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering is typically required
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, pneumatic systems, hydraulic brakes, and welding
