Responsible for creating, optimizing, and refining English-language financial news and analysis for Zawya.com. ZAWYA offers the latest news and analysis from regional and global markets throughout the day. News on equities, commodities and currencies are updated on real-time basis.
المسؤوليات
- Independently write original, relevant financial and regional capital markets content in English.
- Produce consistent output of in-depth financial and capital markets stories (asset classes, investments, ECM, DCM, M&A, macroeconomic outlooks).
- Review content for relevance, accuracy, and factual errors.
- Correct content for style, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Optimize content using best practices in tagging, keyword usage, headline creation, and SEO.
- Maintain a solid working relationship with the regional financial community.
- Monitor content feeds and update spreadsheets and databases.
- Push content through social media channels to increase readership numbers.
المؤهلات
- A university degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Journalism, or Political Science is required.
- 7–10 years of experience writing financial news and analysis in English for a reputable local or global publication.
