Sales Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead revenue growth across large-scale exhibitions and events. This role will be responsible for driving new business, nurturing existing accounts, and building strong industry relationships to achieve commercial objectives.

- Drive sales for new and existing exhibitions to meet revenue and growth targets
- Research competitor events and industry trends to identify fresh opportunities
- Support the creation of impactful sales materials in collaboration with marketing
- Contribute to visitor promotion initiatives to boost attendance and engagement
- Grow, maintain, and leverage the exhibitor database to expand market reach
- Build and manage partnerships with sales agents, associations, and trade bodies across key markets
- Negotiate exhibitor and sponsorship contracts while managing vendor relationships
- Develop and implement sponsorship, partnerships, and non-space revenue streams
- Oversee key account management strategies, ensuring long-term retention and growth
- Lead delivery of sales budgets, forecasts, and financial targets
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, hitting sales goals
- Analyze internal and external market data to identify emerging trends
- Foster strong, lasting client relationships by understanding business needs
- Generate innovative sales strategies to drive client acquisition and retention
- Oversee exhibition floor plan sales in collaboration with operations
- Manage sales budgets effectively to achieve financial goals
- Partner closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales priorities
- Provide leadership, training, and ongoing coaching to the sales team

- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within the events industry
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and partnerships with trade bodies and associations
- Strategic thinker with experience in sponsorship sales, key account management, and business development
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
