Duty Engineer

Mandarin Oriental Muscat situated in a prime beachfront location, Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is a chic urban resort that offers 150 stylishly appointed guestrooms and suites, five restaurants and bars, a lush Spa at Mandarin Oriental, and an outdoor swimming pool. Scope of Position: - Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas. - Comply with all Fire, Life, Health, and Safety Standards. - To be conversant with the Hotel Emergency Procedures. - Perform Emergency Response Team duties as required. - To carry out work in accordance with The Hotel Planned Maintenance Program. - Maintain, repair, check and record equipment relating to Guest Facilities, Public area, Plant Rooms, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Fire/Life safety, Electrical/Mechanical Services, Plumbing and Heating, Kitchens, and Lighting. - Actively supervise and support the Shift Technician. - Ensure all logbooks and records are kept up to date. - Assist Engineering personnel with technical advice and ensure standards are maintained. - Deputize for ADOE/ACE in their absence. - Actively assist with Energy Conservation and Control. - Responsible for the entire shift operations ensuring all technical support.
