Senior Business Development Manager

The Senior Business Development Manager (Sr BDM) is responsible for driving Aon’s growth agenda in Saudi Arabia, with a particular focus on Riyadh and other strategically important markets. This role goes beyond individual deal-making to shaping market strategy, developing high‑value partnerships, and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally. The Sr BDM will own a significant revenue and pipeline target, lead complex multi‑stakeholder opportunities, manage strategic client relationships, and provide guidance and mentorship to other business development colleagues.

- Develop and execute a business development strategy for Riyadh and KSA
- Identify, originate and convert high-value opportunities to meet revenue targets
- Build and maintain a robust, accurately forecasted pipeline using CRM tools
- Lead the full deal lifecycle for complex opportunities
- Build and sustain strong relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients
- Represent Aon at relevant industry events and conferences
- Provide structured market intelligence on trends and competitors
- Lead cross-functional pursuit teams to develop client propositions
- Drive development of business cases and pricing strategies
- Coach and mentor Business Development Managers
- Ensure all opportunities are managed in line with Aon’s approval processes
المؤهلات
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or related field required
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is strongly preferred
- Typically, 8–12+ years of experience in business development, sales, commercial or strategic partnerships roles
- Strong experience in the Saudi market, preferably with a significant portion spent in Riyadh
- Demonstrated track record of originating, leading and closing large, complex transactions
- Experience managing strategic or key accounts
- Experience in insurance, risk management, financial services or related sectors is preferred
