K20s - Kinetic Technologies is looking for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer specialized in GE MS5002 heavy-duty gas turbines for a 2-year onsite project in the Iraq Oil & Gas sector. The role involves maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of turbines, with knowledge of MS6001 turbines being a plus.
المسؤوليات
- Perform mechanical maintenance, inspections, and overhauls on MS5002 gas turbines
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for turbine failures
- Carry out disassembly, assembly, alignment, and inspection of turbine components
- Execute minor and major inspections in accordance with OEM and site procedures
- Provide technical guidance to site technicians and contractors
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, site safety rules, and permit-to-work systems
- Prepare service reports, job logs, and technical documentation
- Support commissioning and startup activities
- Liaise with operations, planning, and engineering teams
المؤهلات
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong experience on GE MS5002 gas turbines (mandatory)
- Locally available in Iraq
