Lerch Bates is hiring a Part-Time Field Inspector to conduct field surveys for moving conveyances like elevators and escalators. The inspector will manage their own schedule, complete technical reports, and ensure safety compliance. This is a contingent, part-time position requiring knowledge of elevator codes and installation.

المسؤوليات

  • Complete field surveys for elevators, escalators, man-lifts, wheelchair lifts, and dumbwaiters
  • Complete subsequent reports following inspections
  • Manage schedule to ensure timely inspections
  • Perform work at heights and in elevator shafts

المؤهلات

  • Thorough knowledge of the installation and maintenance of conveyance equipment and current elevator code
  • Previous experience in the Elevator industry
  • QEI/CEI certification is highly preferred
