Senior Rig Electrician – Onshore Drilling Operations supporting onshore drilling operations in the Kurdistan Region. This is a short-term rotational contract, working on 1500 HP land drilling rigs, offering a USD-paid daily rate and a 4/4 rotation. The role requires a highly competent electrician with strong fault-finding skills and proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems on high-horsepower land rigs.
المسؤوليات
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on 1500 HP land rigs
- Ensure reliable operation of rig power generation, distribution, and control systems
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety procedures and company standards
- Support rig-up, rig-down, and commissioning activities as required
- Complete maintenance records, reports, and permits
- Work closely with rig crew and supervisors to ensure safe operations
المؤهلات
- Proven experience as a Senior Rig Electrician on land drilling rigs
- Hands-on experience with 1500 HP rigs is essential
- Strong knowledge of generators, VFDs, motors, MCCs, and rig electrical systems
- Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in remote environments
- Medically fit for rotational onshore work
