Senior Site Reliability / Gitops Engineer

Canonical is hiring a Senior Site Reliability / Gitops Engineer to our Information Systems team. This role is an opportunity for an automation-first senior technologist with a passion for Linux to build a career driving success with Ubuntu and open source products. You will define infrastructure as code, improve Canonical products by providing feedback to developers, and maintain operational responsibility for core services.

- Drive the development of automation and Gitops as an embedded tech lead
- Design and architect services for the organization
- Apply IaC to increase automation and improve processes
- Automate software operations across private and public clouds
- Maintain operational responsibility for core services, networks, and infrastructure
- Develop skills in troubleshooting, capacity planning, and performance investigation
- Set up and maintain observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
المؤهلات
- Bachelor's degree or greater in computer science or related engineering field
- Practical knowledge of Linux networking, routing, and firewalls
- Hands-on experience administering enterprise Linux servers
- Python software development experience with large projects
