Project Manager
Job Description
The Expert IT Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile and hybrid project teams with a focus on achieving business results. This role involves defining project scope and schedule, organizing status meetings, and managing risks and issues for complex, highly visible projects.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope and schedule while focusing on timely delivery of value
- Organize and lead project status and working meetings
- Manage risks and issues and correct deviations from plans
- Assist in team development and hold teams accountable for commitments
- Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations
- Maintain project documentation utilizing project management tools
- Monitor and report on vendor performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- At least 7 years of medium to large-scale project experience
- At least 7 to 10 years of experience with project or program planning
- PMP certification preferred
- Experience working within the public sector (health and human services) preferred
