Beirut Office Administrator
Job Description
The International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) is a treaty-based international non-profit research organization supported by CGIAR. The position oversees and supports a wide range of institutional activities in Beirut.
Responsibilities
- Provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Country Manager
- Coordinate administrative and logistics aspects of events, meetings, and travel
- Coordinate with Ministry of Foreign Affairs on visas and residencies
- Arrange appointments with Ministries and Local authorities
- Follow up on procurement requests and payments
- Registration and insurance for vehicles
- Manage petty cash for the Beirut office
- Coordinate clearances of goods with customs
- Prepare monthly time sheets
- Follow up with the bank on financial matters
Qualifications
- BSc in business management, or equivalent
- Minimum of three years' experience in secretarial work and office/administrative support
- Fluency in English and the relevant national language spoken and written
