Job Summary: The Enterprise Applications Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications that support the organization’s business processes. This role ensures optimal performance, integration, and security of software applications while leading a team of technical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the deployment, configuration, and support of enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, or other business systems).
- Lead a team of application specialists, developers, and support staff.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure systems meet organizational needs.
- Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and manage application budgets, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
- Monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
- Plan and execute software upgrades, patches, and integration projects.
- Provide training, documentation, and support to users and teams.
- Coordinate with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and project management teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) managing enterprise applications and IT teams.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, business processes, and software lifecycle management.
- Experience with cloud platforms and integration tools is a plus.
- Vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, or system-specific certifications) are advantageous.
