Food and Beverage Server / six-month contract
Job Description
Mandarin Oriental Muscat is looking for a F&B Server to join our Food and Beverage team. You will have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings. Ensure that mise en place is completed and deliver service by understanding guest requirements. Assist in picking up required stocks and maintain product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Verbally explain outlet concept and F&B offerings to guests
- Complete mise en place shift to shift including cleaning and polishing
- Operate the POS system to process food and beverage orders
- Deliver service by understanding guest requirements
- Up-sell services and products to enhance revenue
- Process MOHG Gift cards and non-cash methods of payment
- Ensure all dishes are presented in compliance with hotel standards
- Communicate guest preferences or allergies to management and kitchen
- Report guest preferences to superiors
