Nurse Reviewer (part-time / remote)
Job Description
Registered Nurses are encouraged to consider a part-time remote Nurse Reviewer position with Liberty Healthcare Corporation. Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program in Idaho which assesses children and adults who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities and / or autism. As Liberty’s Nurse Reviewer, you will apply your nursing expertise to determine eligibility for intense 1:1 support services.
Responsibilities
- Apply nursing expertise to determine eligibility for intense 1:1 support services
- Review health information of children and adults
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in documentation
- Collaborate with others to make approval or denial determinations
- Create professional and evidence-based determination letters
- Attend weekly virtual meetings
Qualifications
- Currently licensed in Idaho as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to analyze and use health information to make informed decisions
- At least two years of nursing experience related to case management or long-term care
- Computer proficiency and solid writing skills
- Knowledge of IDAPA regulations is helpful
