Key Account Manager, One Middle East (Oman)
Job Description
The Key Account Manager role is accountable for consistent and sustainable sales growth; engaging SKF Authorized Distributors, Channel Partners and End Users with a focus on expanding customer relationships. This position will be located in Oman with a hybrid contract.
Responsibilities
- Secure SKF’s position with customers on new products and applications
- Execute a flawless customer experience
- Function as the primary technical resource for distributors and end-users
- Engage with SKF Authorized Distributors and Channel Partners
- Provide training and hands-on demonstrations of bearings and seals
- Articulate advanced problems to Application Engineers
- Manage distributor relationships including shipping and logistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years’ experience in a sales role covering process industries (Mining, Cement, etc.)
- Solid commercial and technical/mechanical proficiency
- Knowledge of lubrication methods and practices
- Knowledge of bearing failures and causes
- Ability to troubleshoot applications
- Proficient knowledge in sales plan development and funnel management
- Comprehensive knowledge of distributor management (P&L, margins, logistics)
- Willingness and ability to travel 40-50% of the time domestically
