Real Estate Manager
Job Description
Manager Real estate will be responsible for development and implementation of strategies to ensure the various brands achieve their expansion program in conjunction with the brand teams. Negotiates and achieves development agreements with the franchisors in line with AMR growth plans. Also, manage the equity property portfolio to minimize property cost inflation, exploit asset management opportunities and provide professional property advice to the business.
Responsibilities
- Plans and executes Real Estate strategy aligned to business strategy
- Undertake Sites Acquisitions throughout the market
- Identify and secure sites to hand-over to Construction
- Handle financial operations of the property such as financial statements
- Monitor lease negotiation and signing, including rental reduction negotiations
- Develop cost effective real estate solutions including location parameters and lease vs. own
- Act as a single contact point for outside agents and potential landlords
- Build constructive relationships with franchise partners
- Accountable for team performance, coaching, and mentoring
Qualifications
- BSc/BA in business Management or any related field
- 8 - 10 years’ experience in retail / F&B companies
- Proven track record of driving the RE agenda and managing teams
- Thorough understanding of Retail or Hospitality industries and trends
- Strong knowledge of applicable property law, taxes and financial statements
