Security Officer - Shopping Plaza
Job Description
As a Security Officer - Shopping Plaza in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for guests and tenants. You will monitor assigned areas, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with the team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff at a retail and mall location
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Monitor access points and loading or receiving areas
- Complete patrol and incident documentation
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
