Purchasing and Supply Manager | Marrakech (Morocco)
Job Description
As the Purchasing and Supply Manager, your role will be to ensure the availability of products while optimizing costs, deadlines, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the company's purchasing strategy
- Identify and select new national and international suppliers
- Negotiate prices, deadlines, payment terms, and contracts
- Evaluate supplier performance (quality, reliability, compliance)
- Manage supply needs according to forecasts and production schedule
- Monitor stock levels and optimize turnover
- Launch and track purchase orders
- Coordinate internal logistics to ensure uninterrupted availability
- Manage the entire import process: documents, transport, customs, transit
- Track KPIs: costs, deadlines, service level, turnover rate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree to Master's degree (Bac+4 to Bac+5) in international trade, supply chain, purchasing, or equivalent
- Proven experience (3 to 5 years minimum) in purchasing, supply, and import/export
- Fluency in French and English required (spoken & written)
- In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international logistics
