Generator Technician (P)
Job Description
TDX Global Solutions, LLC (TDXGS) is the premiere service provider for critical prime and standby power generation and power distribution systems world-wide. Technician will be responsible for participating in the day-to-day operations of a diesel engine driven power plant and power distribution system at a remote overseas facility located in Turkey.
Responsibilities
- Work a 10-hour shift to provide 24 hours support for the power plant
- Make log book entries and draft various reports using MS Excel and MS Word
- Perform all trouble-shooting, fault analysis, and repair tasks
- Monitor power plant operation and take readings as directed
- Safely operate power generation and distribution equipment
- Maintain fuel storage system and conduct fuel quality tests
- Comply with required environmental health and safety programs
- Record accurate readings of instrumentation detailing kWH, fuel consumption, voltage, HZ.
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and general NFPA and OSHA safety standards
- Familiarity with UPS systems, PLC systems, High, Medium and Low voltage distribution systems preferred
- A valid drivers' license issued by state of residence and in good standing
- Experience with the installation maintenance and repair of diesel engine driven generators
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams proficiently
