WAN Security Engineer - Secret Clearance
Job Description
WAN Security Engineers support Enterprise-class network security technologies, which includes network firewalls, web proxy appliances, VPN appliances, Comply to Connect (C2C) and Network Access Control solutions. The WAN Security Engineers are responsible for design, troubleshooting, optimization, administration, change management and technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide enterprise-level support for network firewall access-lists
- Manage access control to all network devices
- Enforce enterprise security policies
- Identifying and investigating malicious network activity
- Ensure technologies are compliant with DISA STIGs
- Perform regular system maintenance for IAVA and CCRI compliance
- Support AAA and auditing for network devices in Cisco ISE
- Monitor status and health of managed network devices
- Create and maintain detailed network diagrams
- Track requests using ServiceNow
Qualifications
- Requires an active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with network and firewall technologies
- DoD 8570.01M IAT Level III baseline and CE certification
