Job Description

The Service Point Advisor is responsible for answering customer inquiries, ensure collection and deliveries of shipments are processed as per network standards, and provide a courteous point of contact. The Advisor is also responsible for promoting and selling DHL’s products and value-added services. Main Responsibilities: Act as an ambassador for DHL; Ensure professional rapport with customers; Follow up on customer enquiries; Maintain proactive work processes; Provide high level of customer service; Maintain thorough knowledge of DHL network and products; Process all shipments accurately at the counter; Promote and sell value-added services like Insurance; Work part of a team to achieve goals; Deal with customer complaints; Ensure shipments are manifested; Keep record of supplies and float money.

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer inquiries via phone and counter
  • Ensure collection and deliveries of shipments are processed per standards
  • Promote and sell DHL’s products and value-added services
  • Process all shipments accepted at the counter accurately
  • Follow up on customer enquiries and direct to correct departments
  • Maintain proactive work processes and teamwork
  • Deal with customer complaints and resolve issues
  • Ensure all shipments are manifested by end of shift
  • Keep record of supplies and float money and submit cash summary
