Travel Agency Manager
Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Agency Manager to lead and drive the growth of a travel agency branch. This role carries full responsibility for branch operations, team leadership, financial performance, and client success. The ideal candidate will have proven experience independently managing a travel agency or branch.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the travel agency branch
- Guide and support ground handling agents, ticketing agents, and operations executives
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, airline policies, and local travel regulations
- Oversee the end-to-end invoicing process, billing, and timely collections
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the branch team
- Monitor branch budgets, expenses, margins, and overall profitability
- Drive sales growth and client acquisition
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as IATA, UFTAA, or GDS certifications are a strong advantage
- 4–6 years of experience in the travel industry
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Prior experience managing a travel agency or an independent branch with operational and financial accountability
