Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
Provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. Tasks include researching, planning, and designing new applications for electro-mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Research, plan, design and develop new applications for electro-mechanical equipment
- Review contractor's standards and specifications
- Design, repair or review gas and diesel engines
- Guide and assist technicians in fabrication and installation
- Perform routine engineering research and development assignments
Qualifications
- 7+ years of qualified automotive maintenance experience
- Must have prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and a U.S. Passport
