Job Description
The Driller is primarily responsible for safe operations, repairing drilling equipment, daily reporting, well control practices, and providing guidance to work crews.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the safe operation of the drill rig, related equipment and personnel
- Supervises and provides expectations, goals, and training for work crew personnel
- Maintains drilling rigs clean and in proper order
- Prepares and submits drilling operations reports
- Ensures safety equipment is in proper working order
- Supervises repairs of equipment
- Operates rig and systems from control panel
- Monitor and ensure proper well control practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of rig drilling experience
