Job Description
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards. Operate kitchen equipment and monitor food quality. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and wash/peel fruits and vegetables
- Cook food according to recipes and presentation standards
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Set-up and break down work stations
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area and equipment
- Check appliance and food temperatures
- Develop positive working relationships with team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
