Job Description
Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standard of nursing practice and performance. Demonstrates leadership competencies while in charge or acting as shift resource/team leader.
Responsibilities
- Provides total patient care according to standards
- Assumes accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care
- Documents all relevant information in a timely manner
- Reports equipment failures and safety issues
- Acts as an advocate for patients and families
- Promotes a safe environment and safety culture
- Contributes to cost efficiency savings on unit
- Participates in new staff/nursing student orientation
- Participates in patient education programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing
- Two (2) years of Nursing experience with Bachelor's, or four (4) years with Associate Degree/Diploma (No experience required for Saudis with Bachelor's Degree)
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country or origin
- Saudi commission for Health Specialties Licensure
