Technical Inspector (Maintenance)
Job Description
This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP. Under the supervision of the Material Maintenance Manager & Technical Inspector Lead, performs initial, in-progress and final inspections on various types of military, commercial, and other forms of Automotive equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots problems/incidents and validates all repair actions
- Performs initial, in progress and final inspections
- Examines parts and components for conformance to equipment specification
- Monitors maintenance technical data and technical library
- Initiates and reviews quality deficiency reports
- Performs audits and inspections of work centers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and Kuwait Heavy Driver’s License
- MOS 63B Wheel Mechanic or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in Automotive Repair
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Technical Inspector
