Job Description

Sets the hotel’s strategic commercial direction by balancing financial objectives, managing sales segments, and guiding the overall commercial strategy of the hotel. Works closely with the General Manager, and supervises the Manager of Marketing Communications, and Director of Revenue to develop and implement a robust commercial strategy that maximizes hotel revenues, market share, and profitability. Responsible for optimizing revenue and profit across rooms, function space, and total hotel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and drives the hotel’s commercial strategy
  • Supervises the Marketing Communications and Revenue Director to prepare the annual budget
  • Monitor and control all sales-related expenditure
  • Analyze market trends, booking pace, and competitive performance
  • Establish and maintain effective pricing strategies
  • Lead Revenue Meetings and long-range planning
  • Guide Director of Sales to strategically deploy the Sales Team
  • Oversee group leads, pricing, and space strategy
