Sales Engineer
Job Description
The Electrical Sales Engineer combines technical expertise in electrical systems with strong sales skills to promote, sell, and support electrical products and solutions. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, providing tailored solutions, and supporting the sales process from initial inquiry through project completion.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Promote and sell electrical products like power distribution and switch gear
- Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals
- Provide pre-sales technical support
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender documentation
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- At least 8 proven experiences in technical sales or electrical engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in the KSA market
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Willingness to travel as required
