Rope Access NDT Technician (Fixed Term - 12 Months)
Job Description
NDT technicians evaluate the physical properties of a material without causing any damage. They will inspect and test the material to find any possible corrosion, cracks, or other imperfections. Use of IRATA Rope access techniques as required.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe, efficient NDT inspection
- Use rope access to access work areas at height
- Inspection using Ultrasonics, Radiography, Magnetic Particle and Eddy Current
- Produce clear and concise reports
- Carry out risk assessments
Qualifications
- PCN or CSWIP certificates preferred
- IRATA – Rope Access – Level 1 or 2
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant inspection techniques
