Job Description

As a Chef De Partie, you will assist in menu planning and development, ensure consistent preparation and presentation of all food items, and maintain five-star luxury standards in the heart of Kuwait City.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in menu planning and development
  • Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of all food items
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective organization
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and maintain kitchen cleanliness
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management
  • Manage recipe costing and develop spreadsheets to enhance efficiency
  • Conduct frequent quality checks to maintain food standards
  • Inspire and motivate the pastry team
  • Adapt to different shifts and areas in the pastry kitchen

Qualifications

  • Creativity, innovative ideas, strong cooking, organizational skills, and people-management abilities
  • Culinary diploma/degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role within a five-star luxury hotel
