Project Manager - Water Transmission
Job Description
Project Manager responsible for representing the client in supervising and administering the BOOT contract to ensure obligations are met.
Responsibilities
- Represent the client in supervising and administering the BOOT contract
- Provide assistance and advice to the client with regards to deviations/variations
- Review technical reports, documents, designs and cost estimates
- Manage a support team of specialized engineers
- Check construction procedures, practices and activities for compliance
- Assist the client to evaluate and manage the Contractor’s performance
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to the client
- Prepare and update project monthly dashboards
- Prepare, monitor and update project risk register
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Monitor testing, commissioning and start-up activities
- Ensure adequate HSE plans are set up and implemented
Qualifications
- B.S. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
- 15 years minimum experience in water storage and pumping systems, and water transmission pipeline project management
- Professional Project Management valid certificate is required
